I love good photography, both professional and amateur. The subject matter does not matter so much as what feelings the photo invokes in me when I see it.
People have been taking pictures of other people since camera’s were invented. Almost that long, we have recorded images of lesbian and gay individuals, couples and groups. Many of these images have been gathered into wonderful books by very talented authors and editors and, in many cases, by the original photographer.
Our LGBT community can claim some world class photographers among our ranks. Their work, while not typically specific to the community, shines a bright light on the artistically gifted among us.
On this page, I’ll be featuring works comprised of lesbian, gay and transgender related photography, LGBT community photography and also works by LGBT identified photographers. Enjoy!
