I’ve been a little lax in my book reading and reviewing this week. Between pre-scheduled surgery and after surgery care for a family member and the 4th of July holiday, there just hasn’t been much time to read and there’s been no time to post.
Normally, I do the gay and lesbian fiction for the Amazon Kindle updates on Saturday. You’re getting them five days late (or 2 days early if you’re an optimist). For that, I apologize. I think though, that the extra days of delay proved helpful. We have some movement this week that we really haven’t seen in awhile.
In the lesbian top 10 ranked by reader review ratings, we have the same ten books as before, but we’ve had some jostling around including a book, Molly: House on Fire by R. E. “Decky” Bradshaw moving into the top 5 that has only been with us on the “main” (highly rated) list since June 24th. It leaped off the popularity list onto the highly rated list that week after only a few weeks on the popularity list.
We have a new entrant at number four on the lesbian “popularity list” (which is a top 5 list). It’s The Secret of St. Claire a romance set in St. Claire, Louisiana by author Robin Alexander.
Now when it comes to the gay, “highly rated” fiction side of things, it was pretty quiet the past week and a half. A T.J. Klune book that’s been in the top 10-15 for awhile jumped back solidly back into the top 10 at number 7; Bear, Otter, and the Kid.
The gay fiction “trending popular” list, however, is a totally different matter. The guys may not be sitting down to hammer out new reviews right now but they are, rest assured, reading new gay themed fiction. The number 3 book on their list moves to number 1 and we get four brand new entrants:
Enjoy!
