Hey all you Sci-Fi fans, Michael Offutt contacted me yesterday. His debut novel, Slipstream, profiled here on February 13th, 2012 has finally received cover art work…it’s awesome! The book is now in pre-release mode with the publisher. It’s looking like we may see it before late May after all.
Here’s a look at the cover:

SlipStream - The Debut Sci-Fi Novel by Author Michael Offut
The cover was created by artist Deron Douglas of Deron Douglas Graphic Arts, Canada. Check out Deron’s other work on his site. Oh, and green is a very appropriate color for this story line. You’ll just have to read the book to find out why.
Soooo… Go on and get ready for this book! If you read my previous review then you know it’s going to be a wild ride. If you just can’t wait, I’ll let you know that it’s available in downloadable format on publisher Double Dragon’s website. Let me just remind you though that this is a loooong book at 380+ pages. You may just want to wait until it’s available in paperback (and you can get a closer look at that great cover) or at least until you can get it for the Kindle so you can carry it around with you easily. It’s your call, of course!
