Once again, as in the past, the broad “Non-fiction” category page has proved to be a breeding ground for new, more specific, category pages. On the main non-fiction page I noticed that I was starting to accumulate a lot of listed books that fit under the more specific – but still kind of general – category of “Lesbian”. I was undecided what to do about this handful of books that pertained in some way to the women loving women among us but that didn’t fit into catagories like Families, or LGBT history, etc. I decided, late last night, that a general “Lesbian” page was in order, so I created one. You can access the page from the Books – Non-Fiction drop down menu or from the menu just to the right of my ramblings on any page.
Yesterday, I did a review post about LGBT related photography and LGBT identified photographers. This was a post that only scratched the surface of the subject, but I mentioned four books in it. Given my love of photography, I already know that I’ll be reviewing more of this type of work. I figured I better just go ahead and construct a photography page now or I’d just be loading up that general non-fiction page again and I’d end up constructing one soon. You can access this new page as well by going to Books in the menu bar and choosing Non-Fiction and then Photography from the drop down menu or by choosing “Photography” from the right hand sidebar.
